Falcon Preparatory School wanted a maths workbook that would support classroom feedback, revision, and independent reflection while giving pupils quick access to key mathematical reference material. The aim was to create a practical workbook that reinforced consistent marking routines and helped pupils respond more effectively to feedback.
We designed a bespoke workbook that included marking and feedback guidance, DIRT (Dedicated Improvement and Reflection Time) prompts, effort-grade descriptors, and clear literacy marking codes. The book also featured visual maths reference pages covering trigonometry, formulae, geometry, unit conversions, and multiplication facts to support retrieval and independent learning during lessons and revision.
The finished workbook gave the maths department a consistent framework for feedback and revision while providing pupils with an accessible reference resource they could use throughout the year both in class and at home. The books were printed in the UK and fully carbon balanced from print through to delivery.
