A bespoke CPD reading notebook for Forest Park Primary School — combining structured reading reflections, implementation planning, and impact review pages in one professional resource designed to help staff turn educational reading into practical classroom action.

Forest Park Primary School wanted a dedicated CPD notebook that encouraged staff to engage more deeply with professional reading and reflect on how new ideas could influence classroom practice. The aim was to create a practical resource that moved staff beyond note-taking and towards purposeful implementation and review.

We designed a bespoke CPD reading notebook featuring structured pages for article and book summaries, reflective notes, questions arising from reading, and review sections. The notebook also included dedicated “Try, Refine, Ditch” action-planning spreads, helping staff identify which strategies to implement, adapt, or postpone, alongside space to record the impact of approaches trialled in school.

The finished notebook gave staff a consistent framework for professional reflection and evidence-informed practice while supporting a more structured approach to ongoing CPD across the school. The books were produced using carbon-balanced printing and environmentally responsible materials.
