Fulham Boys School — An Art & Design workbook built around assessment, reflection, and creative development

Fulham Boys School — An Art & Design workbook built around assessment, reflection, and creative development

A bespoke Art & Design workbook for Fulham Boys School — combining assessment criteria, subject vocabulary, enterprise skills, feedback structures, and literacy support in one visually structured resource designed to strengthen creative development, independent reflection, and presentation across KS3 art lessons.

Fulham Boys School wanted an Art & Design workbook that would support both practical creativity and structured assessment across KS3. The aim was to create a resource that reinforced artistic vocabulary, independent reflection, and feedback routines while linking classroom practice to the school’s wider enterprise and values-based curriculum.

We designed a bespoke workbook featuring KS3 assessment descriptors linked to the Art & Design assessment objectives, detailed marking codes, literacy prompts, feedback and response pages, and dedicated spelling and subject vocabulary sections. The book also incorporated the school’s “Enterprise Skills” framework — including teamwork, problem solving, inquisitiveness, and resilience — alongside Christian values and reflection prompts to support wider personal development through art.

The finished workbook gave the department a consistent framework for assessment, literacy, and creative reflection while helping students develop stronger artistic vocabulary, presentation, and independent learning habits throughout the course. The books were printed in the UK using carbon-balanced production and environmentally responsible materials.
