Houghton Regis Academy wanted a lined exercise book that would reinforce high expectations around presentation, literacy, and student conduct across the curriculum. The aim was to create a consistent resource that supported feedback, encouraged positive learning habits, and helped students take greater pride in their work.
We designed a bespoke exercise book featuring exercise-book expectations, literacy and proofreading codes, target-setting pages, structured feedback sections, and dedicated areas for key words, facts, and definitions. The book also included motivational prompts and clear success criteria to reinforce organisation, resilience, and positive attitudes to learning throughout the school year.
The finished exercise book gave staff a consistent framework for presentation, feedback, and literacy while helping students develop stronger organisation, reflection, and independent learning habits across all subjects. The books were printed in the UK using carbon-balanced production and environmentally responsible materials.
