Market Hill Primary School wanted an English workbook that would support literacy development while reinforcing presentation, reflection, and independent learning habits across primary English lessons. The aim was to create a practical resource that encouraged pupils to take pride in their writing and engage more actively with spelling, feedback, and improvement.
We designed a bespoke English workbook featuring exercise-book expectations, spelling strategies and reference pages, literacy marking codes, growth-mindset prompts, target-setting sections, and retrieval-focused “Key Words” and “Key Points & Facts” layouts. The book also included SPaG checklists, proofreading prompts, and dedicated vocabulary support to help pupils develop stronger writing accuracy and organisation throughout the year.
The finished workbook gave teachers a consistent framework for literacy, feedback, and presentation while helping pupils build confidence, resilience, and stronger independent writing habits across English lessons. The books were printed in the UK using carbon-balanced production and environmentally responsible materials.
