A bespoke Design & Technology workbook for Marsden Heights Community College — combining classroom routines, reflective learning prompts, and ACCESS FM product-analysis guidance in one structured resource designed to strengthen organisation, evaluation, and independent design thinking across DT lessons.
Marsden Heights Community College wanted a Design & Technology workbook that reinforced classroom expectations while supporting independent design analysis and evaluation skills. The aim was to create a practical subject resource that helped students develop stronger organisation, reflection, and product-analysis techniques throughout the design process.
We designed a bespoke workbook featuring lesson-routine guidance, practical and theory preparation prompts, reflection sections, outcome-and-objective trackers, and dedicated ACCESS FM analysis pages covering aesthetics, cost, customer, environment, safety, size, function, and materials. The layouts encouraged students to evaluate products in greater depth while supporting structured thinking, technical discussion, and independent design development.
The finished workbook gave the department a consistent framework for routines, evaluation, and reflective learning while helping students build stronger analytical and creative-thinking skills across Design & Technology lessons. The books were printed in the UK using carbon-balanced production and environmentally responsible materials.
