Meden School — A maths workbook built around numeracy, presentation, and independent problem solving

Meden School wanted a maths workbook that would reinforce high expectations around presentation, behaviour, and mathematical reasoning while supporting students with accessible numeracy reference materials throughout the year. The aim was to create a practical resource that encouraged organisation, resilience, and independent problem solving across maths lessons.

We designed a bespoke maths workbook featuring exercise-book expectations, attitude-to-learning and behaviour trackers, RAG assessment prompts, trigonometry guidance, formula-reference pages, conversion charts, multiplication grids, and structured self-, peer-, and teacher-assessment sections. The layouts encouraged students to show clear workings, reflect on progress, and develop stronger mathematical vocabulary and reasoning skills during both classwork and revision.

The finished workbook gave the maths department a consistent framework for numeracy, reflection, and presentation while helping students build confidence, accuracy, and independent learning habits across the curriculum. The books were printed in the UK using carbon-balanced production and environmentally responsible materials.
