Mount Carmel Roman Catholic High School — A creative subjects workbook built around growth mindset, feedback, and independent learning

Mount Carmel Roman Catholic High School wanted a workbook that would support students across creative subjects while reinforcing resilience, reflection, and high expectations. The aim was to create a resource that encouraged pupils to embrace challenge, respond positively to feedback, and develop greater independence in their creative work.

We designed a bespoke workbook featuring growth-mindset guidance, structured WOW/NOW feedback pages, code-marking systems, effort trackers, challenge-and-response activities, ideas pages, and dedicated spaces for recording notes, vocabulary, and design development. The book encouraged students to reflect on their progress, improve their work through actionable feedback, and develop stronger creative-thinking skills throughout projects.

The finished workbook gave teachers a consistent framework for feedback and assessment while helping students build confidence, resilience, and ownership of their learning across creative subjects. The books were printed in the UK using carbon-balanced production and environmentally responsible materials.
